What happens when you delete your account

Your data goes with it. Your account and profile picture, the channels you own and the messages in them, your direct conversations, your friendships and requests, your settings, and your notification registrations. Audio files are removed from storage rather than just unlinked.

Messages you sent into someone else's channel stay as empty entries, so other people's conversations do not end up with gaps in them. The audio is gone and your name is no longer attached.

Deleting your data

You can do this yourself in the app. Open your profile, tap the three-dot menu, and choose "delete my account." It takes effect straight away.

If you no longer have the app, email info@theRecordium.com and we will take care of it. Let us know the username or the email address on the account so we can find it. There is no need to reinstall anything.
